As multi-disciplinary artist and designer I love new challenges and problems and finding unique and playful ways to solve them. I put people at the heart of everything I create and enjoy being able to bring people together through mutual meaningful experiences.
Having graduated from Goldsmiths in 2008 with a BA(hons) in Fine Art and History of Art and then working within the fashion industry for many years, I bring varied influences to my design practise and fully embrace and appreciate the journey I have been on to find my way to the field of interaction design.
Now in my third year of the Digital Interaction Design course at Duncan Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee, I have found returning to university a positive and exciting experience. The course is a perfect fit for me, integrating my love of design, aesthetics and creating user centred design. I have approached it ambitiously and really excited to see where the next step will take me.
When I’m not making or designing things you will usually find me out running, as mentioned earlier I like a new challenge and in 2017 I ran 17 marathons across Europe to raise £1,500 for Breast Cancer Care. In September 2018, I attempted to run from London to Rome. Unfortunately somewhere in France just before the Swiss border, 8 days in and having ran almost 400 miles I was forced to abandon my trip due to heatstroke. I'll be back with more crazy challenges though, you can check out 'The Running Projects' at the bottom of the homepage to find out more.
